In our present society, communication is more or less the “cannot – do – without” that people always say and the strength of every successful business generally.
The impact of this can be felt in the life of individuals, homes and government establishment, without adequate communication network every activity is useless (paralyzed).countries all over the world has communication industry whose duty it is to acquire communication lines and distribute it equally among the populace of the nation. Most companies need great strength or determination to make it work. In Nigeria the button for communication distribution network is given to Nigeria Telecommunication limited (NITEL)
This project work research into the procedure and criteria involved in the telephone line allocation in inhabitants of Enugu by Nitel. In Nigeria today NITEL is having a very big problem with lines allocation due to the fact that it is speculated that lines available to NITEL cannot comfortably go round the country. In the process of this research it was found out that the real problem NITEL is facing were made in the problem, which at the end resulted in the arrival of solution to the problem. A new computerized design, which will always use the available lines at any time to equitably meet the demand of telephone line subscribers in the country; this computerized design is more accurate, reliable even easy to use and comparatively cheap
